This weekend: sold out vs still on sale
Start on Clark Street. Tinzo and Jojo with DJ Lady D at Smartbar on Friday, November 6 (doors 10 PM, 21+) is sold out on the club page. Do not hunt a door ticket for that one. The rest of the weekend is still open: Format presents UFO95 live with Brenda and KX1000 on Saturday, November 7 (doors 10 PM, 21+) lists $20 to $25 advance, $25 door and $20 student door before midnight with valid ID, and Queen! on Sunday, November 8 brings Derrick Carter, Julie Marghilano and Michael Serafini, hosted by Lucy Stoole and Nico with guest host Claire, at $15 early, $20 advanced, $20 door or $15 student door before midnight with valid ID.
Across the river, Spybar at 646 N Franklin runs a clean two-night stack. Radius keeps the mid-November calendar moving without reprinting face prices the club does not publish on its all-events page: Frost Children on Thursday, November 12 (doors 6:30 PM), Westend with DANSYN and Eddie Adams on Friday, November 13 (doors 10 PM), and Brutalismus 3000: Harmony US Tour on Saturday, November 14 with Cannelle, 10cust and TDY b2b Shaun LaCosta-Sinclair (doors 10 PM), plus a second Saturday room. The civic holiday kickoff lands the following weekend. New Year’s Eve needs a clean credit. NOVA 2027 on Thursday, December 31, from 9 PM to 4 AM at Sound-Bar (226 W Ontario) is promoted by Chicago Twenty Something; Sound-Bar is the venue, and the club’s own billing calls the night Sound-Bar’s Last Dance for its final New Year’s Eve in the Ontario and Franklin room.
